This place displays village life or gramjivan (in Marathi). The sculptures here are life-size spreading across an area of seven acres. There are around 300-odd statues here which you can see. Statues are made up of wax and some are made up of cement.

The roads are nicely marked so one cannot get confused where to go and how to go and also volunteers are there to help to show the correct path. During our visit there were School trips  also and for them this could be great treasure of wide cultural base of our country.

Is has 2 sections underground and an open one.

The underground part is of ancient India, sages who studied observing the nature and presented it in a scientific way, and the tales of all the Gods as written in scriptures.

The open part depicts the lifestyle of rural India from all its corners. It also shows the various festivals of India (mostly of middle and south India)

The museum has an old Shiva temple on the grounds. It is related to the Inchegeri Sampradaya, to which Nisargadatta Maharaj belongs. It is believed that a Shivling was installed by a Lingayat Priest on a beautiful hill in the 14th century.

At the end of math , there are live workshops where you can watch, learn and buy goods that are made right in front of you like freshly baked bamboo art work, pots and much more.
Place also has modern shows like 4D, 7D short films, horror house. Hall of mirrors is a must go place.

We came outside of museum after 2 hours. Outside of this exhibition there are many other small halls, shops selling eatables, foods, cold drinks etc. There was Book Store selling the books at low price.

There are many toilets which are very clean and also roadside there are many dustbins keeping clean area.

When one comes out one can feel that it is not the exhibition but it is real life story of rural culture and our country has wide ancient history and culture which is being displayed at this place.

One must visit this place and enjoy the tour and see our history of the saints and also village life which is diminishing. This is good effort to expose children to long cultural heritage of our country.
